I’m Michael Garrison, a photographer driven by a passion to capture the unique stories and beauty of the world around me, fueled by creativity, adventure, and a life on the move. Growing up in Atlanta but taking my life to Europe at 17, I developed a style as dynamic as my experiences, influenced by the vibrant contrasts of cultures, people, and places I’ve encountered along the way.
As a professional athlete, my journey has taken me to world championships, across Europe’s most challenging landscapes, and to the proudest moments of international race victories. Racing at such a high level requires discipline, resilience, and a relentless work ethic—all of which shape my approach to photography as well. For me, photography balances the intensity of sport, providing an outlet for creativity and reflection that keeps me grounded.
Through years of racing and travel, I’ve learned to connect with people from every corner of the globe, speaking different languages and immersing myself in diverse cultures. These connections are some of my greatest inspirations; they remind me that each photograph has the power to tell a story that words can’t capture. I thrive on working with families, individuals, and brands, creating memories that feel authentic, alive, and deeply personal.
